Dear All
Well here we are again. I hope you will receive these letters regularly. I'm afraid my letters are full of wants. Certain things crop up in my mind just as I have posted the other letter. I am allowed one uniform parcel besides the 3 months clothing parcel so please could you send my cap and old raincoat not anything good as it will get hacked to bits in no time—a pair of warm slippers, tooth paste, shaving cream, are badly wanted also warm clothes for next winter should be sent off as early as possible to arrive in time. Cigarettes at cheap rates can be sent any time by anyone from a tabacconist shop please also send tin opener. I now understand that it is impossible to send a raincoat. Could you get Al Schlessinger to send me a food parcel from American Mabel in Canada [?] if she can get in touch with anyone in America to send me parcels—please send photographs will send one when I can—am very well full of beans get Red Cross food parcels regularly. Tooth paste must be powder or block not tube. I hope you are all well don't worry about me, I shall be OK. Get 2 letters and four post cards a month shall write as regularly as possible this is last letter till next month. Kind regards to Mr & Mrs Turton.
Love to you all John
