The papers are still full of the German victory at Liège. They are full of admiration for the brave attack of their troops on an almost impregnable (modern) fortress, garrisoned by 25,000 troops.
4,000 Belgian prisoners sent to Frankfurt.
8 guns have been taken from the Russians by the 1st Army corps.
It is said that French troops were found among the garrison defending Liège.
The Americans are respected here as being the only race faithful to Germany. Those Americans in need of money are helped by the Germans. I hear that the United States are [sic] sending a large sum of money for the support of American citizens in Germany.
